I got down on my knees
To thank the trees
For providing me the shade

I ran down to the river
The source, the life-giver
The water in which I wade

I uncovered my eyes
To the bluest of skies
Then I opened my heart and prayed

That after the lies
I’d find myself wise
I’d know that I’d been betrayed

Heard the stones sing

We are one with everything

There I met a snake
